Come join us for a 2hr fun freedive in Port Phillip Bay here in Melbourne. Exploring the magical waters around the southern parts of the bay.
You have to be certified Freediver or have completed a Freedive course to join.
We provide you with a float, line and lanyard and you have the opportunity to do some Freedive training. It's best to come along with a dive buddy but we should have enough students available for you to join on one of the floats.
Who is this for:
You have completed a course but want to have a bit more time in the water training on your ability but you don't have a float, line and kettle bell to dive with. Or you want to do some training before joining us to complete your next level Freedive course. This is an amazing opportunity to get into the water at a great price and do some training with your friends.
There will be a Freedive instructor on board to facilitate the experience but they are not there to dive on the float. They will give everyone a briefing on the dive and how to correctly safety each other.
If you don't have your own equipment, you can arrange to hire freedive equipment.
Equipment that you will need:
- Mask & Snorkel
- 5mm two piece wetsuit with integrated hood
- Rubber weight belt & weights
- Gloves & socks
- Freedive fins
In order to join a training dive you will need to have completed a level 1 freedive course (or the PADI Basic Freedive course)
We also need a minimum of 8 students to facilitate the boat dive
You need to be dressed in your wetsuit 15 minutes before launch time. If you are late you will miss the pickup time and forfeit your space on the boat.
