Freedive & Spearfishing Retreat – Mercury Islands, NZ 🐟🌊
We’re heading to New Zealand for an epic liveaboard spearfishing adventure around the stunning Mercury Islands! With only 6 guests, you’ll get maximum time in the water and a rare chance to hunt some of New Zealand’s most legendary fish.
This is a 7 day trip with 4 days diving. For 4 days, we’ll head offshore , and spearfishing around the magical reefs of the Greater Mercury Islands. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced diver, there’s something for everyone — from kingfish to snapper, crayfish, and more!
We have a weather day up our sleeve for bad weather or as an option we could book the boat for a 5th day of diving at an additional cost.

Catch and keep: We’ll fillet and freeze your haul so you can take your trophy fish home to Australia. Max 10kg allowed back into Australia. Remember to book extra luggage.

What is not included:
THE PLAN

Arrival: arrive on the 1 March and meet the team at the airport and transfer to our accommodation. Setup your diving gear

Dive days: Hop on the boat and dive into adventure! 2-6 March. Targeting Kingfish, snapper, boarfish and so much more!

Return: depart Whitianga on the 7th of March (no flights booked before 1pm to allow for the 3hrs drive back to Auckland)
Seats are extremely limited, so don’t wait — this is a once-in-a-lifetime trip for any thrill-seeker or freediving fan.
