At Salt Sessions Freediving, we are excited to be teaming up with Shrek from the Noobspearo podcast, to welcome you onto our spearfishing in Whitsundays Liveaboard trip in August 2025.
What You Can Expect
For five days and four nights, we will stay on the liveaboard maxi yacht, sailing around the Outer Reef system Whitsunday Islands. When deciding on joining, remember that:
- We focus the spearfishing aspect of the trip on beginner-entry level spearfishers, with an average diving depth of around 5 to 15m available. But we also have some more challenging depths and conditions for the more experienced spearfisher.
- This trip is zero ego and 200% froth!!
- Great close community vibes with filleting sessions and debriefs after every day's hunting session.
- Enjoy magical nights on the Outer reefs with great food and plenty of laughs!

- Great team of frothing guides and crew to help you get the most out of the adventure!
- Accommodation is backpacker style accommodation with bunk beds.
What Does Your Trip Include?
If you’re up for the challenge, your trip fee of $2,999 will include:
- Four nights (5 days) on the fully catered ‘The Broomstick’ maxi yacht (BYO alcohol).
- All meals provided.
- Dorm style accommodation.
- Freediving refresher. This refresher is essential for overall safety, from oxygen and breath management to effective swimming techniques.
- Beginners spearfishing course. Learn the basics of spearfishing and how to make the most of your gear.
